Data deletion instructions

Last updated: 3 September 2026

What data this covers

When you connect an advertising account to Fibbler — Meta Ads, Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads — we store an access token for that connection, the list of ad accounts it can reach, and reporting figures for your campaigns: names, impressions, clicks and spend.

We do not read or store profile information about the person who connects the account. From Meta we request only the ads_read permission, which is read-only: Fibbler never creates, edits, pauses or deletes anything in your advertising account.

Removing the connection yourself

In Fibbler

Sign in, open Sources, find the advertising platform in the list and choose Disconnect. This revokes the access token immediately, so Fibbler stops receiving anything new from that account.

On Facebook

You can also remove Fibbler from the Facebook side, which has the same effect on the connection. Go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find Fibbler in the list and remove it.

Requesting deletion of data already collected

Disconnecting stops new data arriving. To have the reporting data we already hold deleted as well, email legal@fibbler.co from the address on your Fibbler account, and tell us which advertising account it concerns. If you want your whole Fibbler account and everything in it removed, say so and we will do that instead.

We confirm by email when it is done, normally within a few days and always within 30 days, as required under the GDPR. Deletion is permanent: reconnecting afterwards starts from an empty account, and reporting history from before the deletion cannot be restored.

We may keep a minimal record that a deletion request was made and carried out, and anything a law such as accounting legislation requires us to retain. Nothing in that record is data received from an advertising platform.

Questions
