Deals Not Appearing
If deals from your CRM aren't showing up in Fibbler, work through the checklist below in order. Most cases come down to CRM configuration on the Data Sources page; the last steps cover domain matching and timing.
Why aren't my deals showing? Checklist
- Confirm a CRM is connected. Company Insights and Campaign Analytics both require a connected CRM. This is a LinkedIn API requirement, not just a Fibbler one.
- Confirm the correct pipeline is selected. On the Data Sources page, under your CRM, check that the pipeline (or pipelines) holding your deals is selected.
- Check Deal Type. If you do not use deal types, set this to All. If Fibbler is filtering on a deal type (for example New Business) but that field is empty on your deals, those deals will not appear.
- Confirm the Closed Won and Closed Lost stage mappings. Make sure the stages that represent won and lost deals are mapped. You can map multiple stages to each.
- Confirm the date range. The range needs to cover when the deals were created and when the companies had ad exposure. Influenced pipeline uses the deal's creation date.
- Still missing? If all of the above is correct and deals still do not show, it may be a cache or sync issue. Contact support (see below).
Domain matching
If your CRM configuration looks correct, the issue is most likely on the CRM side. To match a deal, Fibbler requires two things:
- The deal has a created date (Fibbler fetches deals based on when they were created)
- The deal has an associated company with a domain attached to it
The root domain in your CRM needs to match the one you can see on the company in Fibbler. To verify:
- Find the deal in your CRM and check which company it's associated with
- Check the domain/website field on that company
- Search for that same company in Fibbler and compare the domain shown there
If the domains don't match, or if the deal has no associated company, Fibbler cannot connect the deal to LinkedIn engagement data.
A deal is influenced but shouldn't be
The opposite can also happen: a deal shows as influenced when you don't think it should, for example a wrong company match, an existing customer, or a deal LinkedIn had nothing to do with. You don't have to live with it in your numbers.
From Company Insights (the table, the influenced pipeline and revenue lists, or a company's Customer Journey) you can exclude a deal from influence, or exclude the whole company if none of its deals should count. It drops out of your influenced pipeline, revenue and campaign reports right away, and stays out across future syncs. You can restore anything later from the Excluded from influence list on the Data Sources page.
